What Separates a Good Builder from a Risky One
A stall is built once, under deadline, and judged for three days. The wrong builder costs you the show. The right one handles design, fabrication, transport, installation and dismantling so you only turn up and sell. Use the ten checks below on any builder, including us.

The Checklist
- Ask for real past work. Photos and a brief of projects at actual Pakistani venues, not stock images. See our portfolio.
- Check they fabricate in-house. Builders who outsource add delay and finger-pointing. See how our fabrication works.
- Demand 3D renders before production, as in 3D booth design.
- Get itemised quotes. Structure, graphics, lighting, furniture, transport and installation listed separately.
- Clarify what is not included (space rent, electricity, organiser fees).
- Confirm the timeline in writing: design approval, production, install window.
- Ask about on-site support during move-in and the show.
- Check venue experience, e.g. the Lahore or Karachi halls.
- Read the terms on payments, revisions and ownership of the stand.
- Talk to a past client if you can.
Red flags
Warning Signs
- Quotes with a single lump-sum and no breakdown.
- No portfolio from real shows.
- Pressure to pay everything upfront.
- Refusal to share a schedule.
- Vague answers about who installs.
Comparing quotes
How to Compare Fairly
Match size, finishes, lighting, screens, furniture and installation. Benchmark against published ranges: PKR 50,000–150,000 for 3x3, 150,000–280,000 for 3x6, 280,000–420,000 for 6x6 and 420,000–500,000+ for two-storey. See the cost guide.
Timing
How Early Should You Book a Stall Build?
We ask for 2–5 weeks for a standard single-storey stall and 6–8 weeks for two-storey. Starting earlier gives room for design revisions, printing and organiser approvals. Our planning checklist gives a week-by-week plan.
