6x6 Stall (36 sqm)
6x6 Exhibition Stall: Island Layouts, Zoning & Cost for 36 sqm
At 36 sqm you can stop squeezing everything into one area and start zoning the stand: reception, display and a proper meeting space. Here is how to plan it and what it costs.

Why 36 sqm
What a 6m x 6m Stall Lets You Do
A 6m x 6m stand is where an exhibition stall stops being a display and becomes a small venue. You can separate the people who are just looking from the people who are there to do business. It is also the usual size for established brands that want open sides, with two or three aisles feeding in.
Our published bracket for 6m x 6m is PKR 280,000 to 420,000, roughly PKR 720–1,080 per sq ft (36 sqm is about 388 sq ft) or PKR 7,800–11,700 per sqm. Larger stands cost less per square metre than small ones because design, graphics set-up and transport are shared across more area.
Zoning
Plan Four Zones Before You Pick a Style
Welcome zone (about 4–6 sqm)
A reception counter placed at the corner or side of the entrance, not across it. This is where staff greet people and capture leads.
Display zone (about 14–18 sqm)
Product plinths, wall displays or a demo area, arranged so that visitors can circle through rather than hit a dead end.
Meeting zone (about 8–10 sqm)
A table for four to six, set back from the busiest aisle and with a lower noise level. Glass or a half-height screen gives privacy without closing it off.
Storage and staff (about 2–3 sqm)
A lockable cupboard or back room for samples, laptops and cartons. Hidden storage keeps the stand clean.
These areas are planning guides, not fixed rules. A product-demo stand may give display 60 percent of the floor; a relationship-driven stand may put half into meetings. Our exhibition stall design process starts from your goals and draws the zones to your exact hall position.
Layouts
Corner, Peninsula or Island: Which 6x6 Position Is Best?
| Position | Open sides | Strength | Consider |
|---|---|---|---|
| Corner | 2 | Good visibility from two aisles at a lower position cost | Place the meeting zone on the closed side |
| Peninsula | 3 | Strong frontage and traffic from three directions | Needs clear sightlines; avoid tall walls on the open sides |
| Island | 4 | Maximum visibility and access | Needs more structure for hanging signs; check ceiling rules with the organiser |
See our worked reference for an open layout in the 6x3 island booth and the shared two-brand stand in our Karachi project, where each brand kept its own reception counter and signage around one central meeting table.
When to move up
6x6 vs a Larger or Two-Storey Stand
If your meetings need real privacy, or you want to be visible from across the hall, the next format is a footprint around 6m x 9m with an upper level. We cover that in our double-decker exhibition stall guide. If you are weighing a smaller stand, start with the 3x3 stall guide or our size guide.
Standard single-storey stands like this need 2–5 weeks from brief to installation. Compare custom against a reusable frame in our modular exhibition booths page if you will exhibit more than twice a year.
